Flite | Framestore

Heya fellows!

I'm thrilled to finally share a project, the short film "Flite," directed by Tim Webber and produced with the incredible team at Framestore. Although it's been a year and a half since its completion, the experience and learning I gained from this project are timeless.

As the modeler assigned to model London, I had the unique opportunity to shape the film's exterior environment. This included crafting the cityscape – from buildings to urban props – and I even designed one vehicle.
I had to create a low poly version for all the vehicles, including the futuristic hoverboard and even the policeman character.
I had to detail the glass building, where I used subtle sculpting to bring it to life.
The main challenge was integrating our work with Unreal Engine for scene assembly. This meant splitting buildings into assets for optimal environmental instantiation – a tough but rewarding task!
